Delbury is probably the most beautiful Georgian house in Shropshire - a fact acknowledged by Lawrence Garner, who chose Delbury for the front cover of his recent book "The Buildings of Shropshire". Delbury was built in 1753 by the Hiorns brothers of Warwick and the central part of the house is dominated by a large hall, with the original oak staircase leading up to a first floor gallery on three sides. There is a spacious drawing room, a dining room and a sitting room. Lucinda and Patrick Wrigley have renovated, restored and redecorated this stunning house to its present high standard of comfort.
